Paris-born Dirk Meyer, 42, has been appointed OEM application engineering manager at Marine Power Europe.  Dirk will lead the team providing advice and assistance to boat builders on Mercury and Mariner outboards and MerCruiser sterndrives, including engines selection, installation, rigging, instrumentation and pre-delivery testing.

 With engineering degrees from Loughborough University (MSc) and Cologne (BSc), he worked in the automotive and exterior lighting industries before joining Marine Power Europe as an OEM product manager 18 months ago.

 In this new role, primary support will be provided by OEM sales application engineer Frederic Louis.
