Brunswick Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dusty McCoy today announced that Peter Hamilton, President of the Brunswick Boat Group, and Pat Mackey, President of Mercury Marine, will now co-locate their offices between Knoxville, Tenn. and Fond du Lac, Wis., respectively, and Brunswick’s corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, Ill.
“Bringing the Company’s key marine leadership together under one roof will further enhance communications and working relationships,” Dusty explained. “Our combined marine capabilities among Mercury, the Boat Group and Brunswick New Technologies have unlimited potential. Having Peter, Pat and BNT President T.J. Chung working together in Lake Forest is an important step in realizing our potential, better aligning our marine efforts and fully utilizing our global marine capabilities.”
As part of this effort for greater marine alignment, Brunswick’s global regional structure will now have direct reporting relationships to its operating units. Vicki Reich, President of the Brunswick European Group, and Bill Gress, President of the Brunswick Latin America Group, will report to Pat Mackey. Theo Wiggill, President of the Brunswick Asia Pacific Group, will report to Peter Hamilton. Operating group reporting relationships with activities in these regions will remain unchanged by these new reporting relationships of the regional Presidents.
“One of our operating values is that decisions will be pushed down to levels where the decision makers have the best understanding of the issues and the most to gain or lose by their decisions. Moving our regional reporting structures closer to our operating units is consistent with that value,” said McCoy.
