John Pfeifer has been named President – Brunswick Marine in EMEA, as well as President – Brunswick Global Structure, a newly created position. He will report to Brunswick Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dusty McCoy. In this new role, John will be responsible for managing marine operations in addition to shared services for all of Brunswick’s operations outside of the United States.“One of our five strategic pillars is to ‘Be Global’,” said Dusty. “By coordinating our global efforts under one unified organizational structure, we will be better-positioned to capitalize on opportunities to leverage our functional capabilities across the Company and deepen our penetration of growing marine markets outside of the United States.”
John, most recently President – Brunswick Asia/Pacific Group, will be relocating to Europe. Reporting to John will be his replacement in the Asia/Pacific Group, as well as Bill Gress, President – Brunswick Latin America Group.
“Since joining the Company in 2006, John has done a terrific job managing the Asia/Pacific Group where sales have increased more than 15 percent in the past year. Most of John’s business experience has involved managing international operations, which makes him ideally suited to fill this new position.”
In his role as President – Brunswick Marine in EMEA, John replaces Jacques Bronchart who announced that he is leaving the Company. “We thank Jacques for his many contributions to Brunswick’s growth over the past 10 years and wish him the best,” Dusty said.
