New boats are the 505 Commander, 555
WalkAround, 635 WalkAround, 470 Cruiser and 525 Flamingo Open. The entire Commander, Cruiser and Weekend offering has been restyled and updated. Depending on the Quicksilver model, power is from Mercury or Mariner four-strokes or two-strokes, or Mercury MerCruiser sterndrives.
The all-new 505 Commander, 5.2-metres length overall, capable of carrying five people and powered by an outboard up to 80HP, is a fully-featured multi-purpose boat for cruising, sunbathing, skiing
or fishing.
There are two new wide-beamed WalkAround models in the Commander series, with the same basic features but differing in length and beam. The 555 WalkAround is 5.5-metres long and has a beam of 2.29 metres, the 635 WalkAround is 6.35 metres and 2.55 metres respectively. The boats both feature a
large sunpad on the foredeck easily accessed by a generous passage on the port side. V-berths for two people make these boats well suited to overnight stays. There is ample storage room, rod holders, swim ladder and an standard ski pole.
Every boat in the Commander and Commander WalkAround group has been given a new upholstery treatment to enhance the design and results in a more sporty look.
The Cruiser family has also undergone a complete facelift and is extended by the new 470
Cruiser, which is well suited for Mercury’s new range of 4 stroke engines. An ergonomically-designed cockpit leaves sufficient room to enjoy fishing over the side, lounging on deck, or taking a family lunch.
Quicksilver is strengthening its value-for-money Flamingo range with the 525 Flamingo Open, a centre-console boat that is easy to trailer. Lockers on both sides of the transom help keep the cockpit tidy. It will carry six people.
Also new for next season, the interiors of the Weekend range, from 6.35–7.85 metres length overall, have been restyled entirely.
Every Quicksilver boat carries a three-year structural hull warranty.
