"Mercury Racing Releases Expanded Line of Maximus Propellers"23/06/2004
Mercury Racing ispleased to announce the availability of an expanded line of MercuryMaximus propellers. The 5-blade Maximus is designed to minimizeslip, a common occurrence on stepped hulls with high driveX-dimensions. The new Maximus has outperformed the 4-blade Bravo Ipropeller in a number of back-to-back comparison tests. Speedincreases have been 6-10 mph at 4000 rpm and 2-6+ mph at wide openthrottle (WOT). The Maximus has reduced slip by as much as 12percent when compared to the Bravo I.Mercury Racing's5-blade Maximus props are designed to be used with Bravo One, BravoOne XZ, Bravo One XR and Bravo One XR Sport Master drives. Maximuspropellers are recommended for boats equipped with the MercuryRacing Bravo One XR Short Sport Master drive.
