Quicksilver announces four new models
Quicksilver fibreglass boats need no introduction to those who like to have fun on the water.
For 2008, Brunswick Marine in EMEA has announced four new Quicksilver models and many product enhancements for the existing boats.
Sport range
The entire Sport range has been revamped with a modern look incorporating trendy colours and very comfortable seats. These boats are comprehensively equipped with a bathing platform, ski hook and much, much more.
On top of this, there are several new models in the Sport family, specifically:
520 Sport: ideal for water sports or a day out cruising thanks to its large sunpad. Powered by a Mercury MerCruiser 3.0L it offers standard hydraulic steering for smooth driving as well as a radio/CD, inter-console protection and removable carpet.

This model is also offered in a bow rider version to be launched at the Paris boat show in December 2007.
570 Sport displays a very modern design with a roomy cockpit and is powered by a Mercury MerCruiser 3.0L.

New motive power
New Cummins MerCruiser Diesel engines will be installed on the following boats for better performance and lower exhaust emissions. Reliability, efficiency and a worldwide after sales network simply add to the appeal of these models.
• QSD 2.0L 130 HP on 650 Cruiser and 640 Weekend
• QSD 2.0L 150 HP on 700 Weekend
• QSD 2.8L 230 HP on 750 Weekend
Equipment upgrades
An electrical windlass with swinging bow roller is now a standard installation on 580 and 640 Pilothouse as well as 700 and 750 Weekend models.
An additional hatch has been installed for improved ventilation on 640 Weekend, 640 and 580 Pilothouse models.
Fish
The 500 Fish is now offered with an optional cabin configuration while
the pilot console is now available as an option on the 410 Fish.
Pilothouse:
Sliding doors have replaced the shutter on the 540 Pilothouse, offering more comfort.
Weekend
For easier manoeuvering, a bow thruster is now installed on the 700 Weekend.
An additional berth has been created on the 640 Weekend.
New option on 640 Weekend.
Separate head compartment.
