Building on the success of its extensive Four Stroke lineup, Mercury Marine introduces the Mercury 9.9 hp Four Stroke Big Foot.

The 9.9 hp completes the 9.9 family will be offered in many popular configurations, including electric or manual start, tiller and remote control.

It comes with many standard features, such as Mercury’s exclusive multi-function tiller with shift in handle for simple one-handed operation, five position manual trim or power tilt, a durable gear case, dual water pickups for dependable operation and a heavy-duty transom bracket for maximum strength, speed and durability.

The 2.42:1 gear ratio and four-blade propeller deliver maximum thrust and slow trolling speeds.

The Mercury 9.9 hp Four Stroke Big Foot is available in two shaft lengths, 20 and 25 inches, for multiple applications.

Production of the EU version is scheduled to start in December 2008.

The Mercury 9.9 hp Four Stroke Big Foot will be backed up by 5-years warranty.
